Who we are

This website is operated by JoyVia, a trading name of Sigii LTD, Office 12 Initial Business Centre, Wilson Business Park, Manchester, M40 8WN, United Kingdom. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website. Contact us at info@joyvia.co.uk.

What we collect and why

• Email address when you join our email list. We use it to tell you when ordering opens and to send useful updates. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
• Order details (name, delivery address, email, phone number if given, items ordered) to process and deliver your order and handle returns. Our lawful basis is performing our contract with you.
• Payment information is handled by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.
• Enquiries you send us, so we can reply and keep a record of the conversation.
• Records such as invoices and orders, which we must keep for tax and accounting purposes.

Who we share it with

We share only what is needed with: our payment provider (Stripe); our fulfilment supplier, who packs and dispatches your order and so receives your name and delivery address; delivery carriers such as Royal Mail; and the service providers that host this website and send our emails. We do not sell your personal information.

International transfers

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or an approved adequacy arrangement.

How long we keep it

Email list details are kept until you unsubscribe. Order and accounting records are kept for six years. Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to resolve them, and then deleted.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask to see, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information, object to its use, and ask for a copy in a portable format. You can unsubscribe from emails using the link in any message. To use these rights, email info@joyvia.co.uk.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
